Currently I am working as IT Director (CTO) at Candelsa, purchasing central for consumer goods, electronics and technology equipment, using our brands Euronics, Tien21 and Confort. I love technology and I am a team work enthusiast. I am in love with my family, my wife and my two little children. I really like travelling and I am a football and running fan.
As IT Director at Candelsa, I am currently responsible for defining the technology strategy of the company, according to my vision in IT sector and according to my experience within technology consultancy. As IT Director I am responsible for managing all the technology projects of the company, according to the business priorities, managing the development team and managing the relationship with all the providers of our department.
Candelsa is one of the main national purchasing central for consumer goods, electronics and technology equipment, with more than 50 years of experience and is responsible for suppying more than 230 points of sale within all its territory, using our comercial brands Euronics, Tien21, Confort and also in our ecommerce portal Puntronic.com
As CTO and director of the IT department at Deporvillage, I was responsible for defining the technology strategy of the company and leading the definition, prioritization and execution process of all strategic projects, according to the business priorities.
As IT director I led a very experienced technical team within ecommerce sector working for featured international projects, selecting and hiring several professionals for our technical team.
My responsibilities also included managing all the relationship with our providers, negotiating and contracting services and managing all technology components and devices of the company.
As Manager of the area I was responsible for the definition, prioritization and execution process of all strategic projects of the company.
Apart from my current role of Head of Software Architecture at Privalia, and because of the relationship between Privalia and La Salle (University Ramon Llull), I joined the trainers team since february 2015. I am the lecturer of some of the subjects of the Master in High Performance Web Programming, where the students learn all the major technologies and most frequently used programming techniques to be used when designing and developing a very complex web application.
